JOHN HAMLETT studied Contemporary Art Practice at Newcastle. Keen on filmmaking he'd document hitchhiking adventures around Europe with a 35mm SLR and tape recorder. After graduating in 1996 he started Lunar and has spent the last 15 years in digital media. He enjoys time with family and flying his paraglider over the Lake District mountains. The POW is his first motion picture short.
