'The POW' (2011) is a short wartime film noir thriller by
John Hamlett, which in 2012 screened at festivals in Moscow,
Dublin, Bucharest, Cyprus, Germany, Canada & the UK.

After four years of German captivity a British Prisoner
of War risks his life to escape during an air raid, but why
take the chance when the war is nearly over?

A riveting performance by Ben Worth (UK) supported by
Stefan Sattler (Germany) and superb cinematic score by
composer Guy-Roger Duvert (France). An epic 9 minute,
'no budget' short.
