SORRY - SOLD OCT0BER 98

Original Second World War American Jeep with fairly comprehensive history. Completely rebuilt by British Army in 1946 from various cannibalised Jeeps this model is made up of Willys 2200cc engine No.MB284126, Ford chassis and Willys body No.2237342 (which retains ID plates on dashboard dated as 1944). Also original Carter carburettor, fuel filter, air cleaner, regulator, oil filter etc. Released from British Army in 1960 it has since been used off-road on several farms in Lancashire until its rebuild and final return to the roads in 1992 under its original 1960 registration of 5954 WU.

Now unfortunately I can't afford to keep it. Running my own business in multimedia, web design etc. I don't even have time to drive it. What it really needs is someone who will love and adore it, give it some fresh air occasionally, and maybe even take it off road (I assure you it's an absolute demon - whips the pants off any Rangerover / Landcruiser etc).
